A stunning array of authors from past and present met in the Ivory Tower (aka The Storyteller's Cottage), for their annual meeting through a portal that can only be entered with a time turner. This particular meeting was a little tense with suspicion as someone had been stealing authors' manuscripts! Here was the line-up of suspects:
Guests gingerly entered the Cottage in their holiday threads and were greeted by the gatekeeper who filled them in on the awful scandal. With pens in hand they toured each room to meet with the authors and gather clues, scribbling answers to very clever questions in their notepads. Once every author had been questioned, everyone gathered downstairs to enjoy some food and spirits. We mingled and sipped cocktails (maybe one too many sips for Mrs. Zelda Fitzgerald) when even more drama unfolded! Not only was there a thief amongst the festivities, but there was also a murderer! The atmosphere became thick with suspicion, and authors began pointing fingers and making accusations of each other. Arguments broke out and tension filled the victorian rooms. Questions were asked....
WHO DID IT?
WHAT WAS THEIR MOTIVE?
DID THEY ACT ALONE?
WERE THERE ANY WITNESSES?
WAS ANY EVIDENCE LEFT BEHIND?
After hours of interrogations, the mystery was solved and we brought the guilty party to justice. Who done it? Ah, that is confidential information. All we can say is that justice was served. The rest of the evening went on and the authors could rest easy again. Until the next meeting...
