The Storyteller's Cottage was transformed into the mysterious home of Chandresh Christophe Lefevre for our fantastical Midnight Dinner, inspired by the book, The Night Circus, by Erin Morgenstern. Our Jane Austen Salon and Steampunk Library were decorated with black and white streamers, flowers, circus tents, and more, to create an immersive Night Circus experience. The hint of red showed we were all true rêveurs.
Guests arrived adorned in black, white, and red, ready to enjoy our unique, mysterious menu, which included Red and White Russian drinks and mice with licorice tails for dessert, and take part in themed dinner party games, like charades and creative tent designing.
Just like guests at the Night Circus can stop by Isobel's tent to have their tarot cards read in the book, guests at our Midnight Dinner could step into the Castle Room to have their fortunes told by psychic Lavernia.
The Storyteller's Cottage hosts many literary dinners throughout the year, though they're not all at midnight! Join us for our "Last Night on the Titanic" Literary Dinner Party on Friday, November 15, at 7:00pm.
