Five Things to Do to Pass the Time while You Wait for Season 3 of 'Stranger Things'

Updated: Apr 23

It feels so close, yet so far away...

Are you missing Will and the gang? Dying to know what is going to happen next after the eerie visual from the season two finale? Us too!! Season Three can't come quickly enough. Here are some ways to get your sci-fi fix while the clock counts down.

1. Binge watch the first two seasons, of course!

It's getting cold outside. There is no better time of year to hide under a blanket and catch up with old friends on TV! Revisit all of the excitement right up to the last image...we can't forget that image...and get yourself excited to see what happens next!

2. Pick up a new Sci-Fi book

These classic thrillers will provide the other-worldly thrill that we sci-fi lovers crave!

3. Write your own Sci-Fi story

If you can't find what the right book or show that does it for you, write it yourself! Is your writing a little rusty? Maybe a writing workshop is just the thing to help get your wheels turning. Try one of our great classes run by local published authors. Here are a few options:

5. Dress like the Stranger Things cast for Halloween

If you are a fan of the retro style this is the perfect time to rock it. Feather up that hair and dust off your windbreaker and rugby stripe pullover, or go all out and create your own demogorgon costume. Either way, you will feel right at home with the cast.

Hang in there! It won't be long now...
