Do you have a genius idea for a film or TV show but have no idea where how to make it happen or where to even begin? Do we have a fabulous opportunity to tell you about! If you are a writer who would love to see your work come alive on the big screen, you will want to listen up! This April, the charming historic center of Simsbury, CT will be the weekend home of an array of award winning producers, film directors, and writers. These industry experts will host lectures, workshops and networking events where you can learn the secrets to success in the film & tv industries!

So when does it all happen?

Base Ticket: $225

Not only will you have a chance to learn secrets from industry professionals, you will enjoy a beautiful weekend immersed in the historic charm of Simsbury and all it has to offer. Presentations and workshops will be held in various historic buildings, each within walking distance.

Kick off the Summit at the historic Eno Memorial Hall where you will hear keynote speeches. Later that night you have the option to enjoy a theater production performed by The Theater Guild of Simsbury at the Hall as well.

The Storyteller's Cottage is a Victorian home in the Fiddler's Green plaza that has been restored into a book-lover's haven. The vintage decor and themed rooms offer an immersive and inspirational space to write and learn. Here you can find helpful workshops and networking opportunities while sipping drinks in the English Country Kitchen.

The Simsbury 1820 House will be offering discounted overnight accommodations. Enjoy luxurious rooms furnished in 19th century antiques and reproductions complete with all of the modern amenities.

Take advantage of workshops given by the experts in the Simsbury Free Library. While you are there, browse their interesting exhibits and artifacts and learn about the town's history.

Don't forget to have some fun too! Reward yourself with great food at some of the amazing local restaurants. Metro Bis and Phelps Tavern have partnered with the Summit organizers to offer lunch and dinner options at discounted prices to Summit attendees. You can also stretch your legs and decompress with a relaxing hike to the Hublein Tower.
