“Bunting is a timeless decoration perfect for use in one’s home or one’s favorite room. I dare say there is bunting all around Pemberley!”
Follow along with Jane Austen as she teaches us how to make some bookish crafts! This week she will be showing us how to make book-page bunting.
String, yarn, or twine
Use your pen to draw a 6 inch by 6 inch diamond shape on a spare piece of paper and cut it out.
Trace your diamond cutout onto your scrapbook paper and book pages with your pen.
Cut out the diamond shapes from your scrapbook paper and book pages.
Fold your scrapbook paper and book pages in half into triangle shapes.
Tape your string, yarn, or twine to the crease along the inside of your scrapbook paper and book pages.
Spread glue along the inside of your scrapbook paper and book pages, and then fold them back to their triangle shape to stick them shut.
Apply any decorations to the scrapbook paper and book pages. Get creative! Some things to include could be cutouts, quotes, symbols, or maybe even a Jane Austen silhouette!
