Materials…

Book pages

Pen

Scrapbook paper

String, yarn, or twine

Scissors

Glue

Tape

Step One

Use your pen to draw a 6 inch by 6 inch diamond shape on a spare piece of paper and cut it out.

Step Two

Trace your diamond cutout onto your scrapbook paper and book pages with your pen.

Step Three

Cut out the diamond shapes from your scrapbook paper and book pages.

Step Four

Fold your scrapbook paper and book pages in half into triangle shapes.

Step Five

Tape your string, yarn, or twine to the crease along the inside of your scrapbook paper and book pages.

Step Six

Spread glue along the inside of your scrapbook paper and book pages, and then fold them back to their triangle shape to stick them shut.

Step Seven

Apply any decorations to the scrapbook paper and book pages. Get creative! Some things to include could be cutouts, quotes, symbols, or maybe even a Jane Austen silhouette!
